Das 150 Jahre alte Haus, das dem berühmtesten Illusionisten Houdini gehörte, ist heute ein Museum. Du beschließt, dorthin zu gehen und einige seiner größten Tricks und Illusionen zu lernen. Beim Rundgang führt dich deine Neugier in einen geheimen Raum, den seit über einem Jahrhundert niemand mehr betreten hat. Kaum bist du drin, fällt die Tür krachend ins Schloss und sperrt dich ein, während die Wände sich langsam zu schließen beginnen. Auf dem Tisch liegt Houdinis Testament, in dem steht: „Du bist der Auserwählte, dem es gelungen ist, diesen geheimen Raum zu betreten. Wer einen Weg hinausfindet, wird das Privileg haben, mein Erbe zu werden.“ Der Schlüssel, der die Tür öffnet, ist irgendwo im Raum versteckt. Um ihn zu finden, musst du jedoch zuerst ein paar Aufgaben lösen. Houdini hat dir einen Bleistift, Klebstoff und eine Schere hinterlassen, dazu sechs verschiedene Karten, die dir bei den kommenden Aufgaben helfen. Wenn du aus diesem Raum herauskommen willst, musst du in den Kopf des größten Illusionisten schlüpfen und anfangen, wie er zu denken. Schaffst du die Flucht und wirst du der nächste Houdini? Du hast 60 Minuten, bevor die Wände dich zerquetschen — also beeil dich, die Uhr tickt!

Non è la prima volta che acquistiamo escape room da Escaperoomgeeks, ed è sempre un grand divertimento. Questa volta era per la festa di compleanno di 12 anni del nostro figlio Paolo, che è appassionato per questo tipo di giochi. Devo dire che assistenza clienti era impeccabile a quanto per sbaglio ho acquistato escape room Frankenstein senza accorgermi che era solo nella lingua inglese, che purtroppo, anche se i ragazzi sanno inglese, avrebbe molto probabilmente messo in difficoltà il svolgimento del gioco. Contattando l'assistenza e spiegando il mio errore, ci hanno subito fatto la possibilità di scegliere tra i giochi disponibili in lingua italiana e senza ulteriori costi e un brevissimo tempo ci hanno mandato link del gioco scelto, salvando la sorpresa per la festa. I work in an after-school program, and am a mom to a 9-year old and 11-year old. We have used several games now - Houdini's Secret Room, Jigsaw Island, Wooka Booka and Mission Unknown - at school and at home. The kids all love them. They are so easy to set up and run, the age recommendations are pretty perfect, and the puzzles are fun to solve. It is a great activity for an hour or so, and it doesn't take a lot of set up time, which is wonderful.

Seven pre teens played aged 10-12 at a birthday party and it was a good amount of challenging but I think I could’ve given a little more intro to set up the game for them better. We weren’t super strict about the penalties and hints so both teams finished in about 45 minutes. Tween Escape Rooms
I bought the 4 pack tween escape room set for my daughters 12th birthday.
We only used two, the houdini and cicrcus ones. They were both a hit! Kida ages ranged from 8-14. Although, challenging in a good way, they all really enjoyed figuring it out. I added some props to help set the mood. I also locked each individual challenge so they had to solve the previous challenge tp get to the next one. The app was so fun and easy to use too! Fun family night
I'm an author looking for ideas to spin off my books so I'm constantly subjecting my family to game ideas. I selected Houdini's Secret Room.
Notes: There were 8 of us. Definitely too large of a group. The guys sat back and watched. I'm don't remember why I selected Houdini -- my youngest is 17, so we are far outside the target age group. We solved the puzzle with no hints but did need to put on our thinking caps.
The storyline was fun. The puzzles matched the theme and, as I stated above, made us think. They would be excellent for the intended age group.
Our only problem was with the app. When we got to the final puzzle, it would not accept our answer. We selected the correct item and received the "are you sure" message, but could not, find a way to submit the answer. We tried for a good ten minutes, inadvertently selecting the wrong item twice. But those were accidents and we couldn't figure out how we got it to accept the answer. We finally gave up and I verified our choice in the solutions guide. Every year my Girl Scout Troop does an escape room at our last meeting before winter break. This was our fourth year, and our second year using one from Escape Room Geeks.
Today we did Houdini's Secret Room with 13 nine and ten year olds, split into 3 groups. Everything went perfectly, and the app was an excellent addition. One group finished with 27 minutes to spare, and the other two made more use of the hints and were able to finish in time though they struggled a little more.
Everything was really well laid out, and the girls had an amazing time.

OMG, first the illustrations, I don’t know who likes them better, me or my two boys. I needed two copies of the game: one for playing, writing, cutting, and one copy so we can make them into posters :). The gameplay is very interesting. The boys were so excited and with their competitive spirit, they were on edge about who would find something first, who would find the solution first, and yet again, when they were stuck, they turned into a team. A lot of fun for 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade students!
We ordered the kit with 3 escape rooms. It was intended for 10 kids, but nearly 30 signed up! We ran 2 groups of 4th grade, 2 groups of 3rd grade playing the Houdini room and 1 group of 2nd grade doing Wooka Booka. The 4th and 3rd grade, we had the kids compete against the other group in the room and it was a lot of fun! We did Houdini’s Secret Room for my daughter’s 10th birthday and it was a hit! The last padlocked box had puzzle boxes filled with candy for an additional challenge. It was great because they finished in 38 minutes and it took them awhile to get the boxes open. ?Verifizierter Kauf

I got Houdini's Secret Room for my almost 9 year old and her friend.
It was super fun, I had to get a few hints to help them along but they loved it. I was having a bit of trouble with the app, it kept closing on me do the timer kept restarting, but that was really the only issue. They made me turn off the music from the app because it was freaking them out ? but I thought that touch was superb to add that element of stress that actually being IN an escape room causes. I have a 10 year old and almost 7 year old. They invited a friend over and worked as a team of 3 to solve both the Professor Swen and Houdini Room. They enjoyed the 3D aspect of the map/car/building and the tower/swords. It made it more than just sheets of paper. I also enjoyed the online clues and timer to make it more interactive. Lastly, we made use of the background music on YouTube that was suggested to add ambiance. It was an all around fun experience for all of the kids and myself! A Huge Hit at My Kids' Camp with 100+ Happy Escapers!
I run kids camps out of my home and this weeks theme is Escape Rooms! I bought the VIP pack and and used 2 of the 3 rooms(one easy and one hard) to accommodate my age ranges. A Magical Houdini Adventure with Family and Friends!
The twins had so much fun at their Escape room birthday party! This was a DIY escape room that my mom and I , with the help of Roger, set up. It was some work but it turned out so neat for the kids. The theme was Houdini’s secret room. We ended up making two rooms, one for the girls and one for the boys. We got lucky that the location that I rented in our home town had a storage closet and then we were able to create another room right next to it. All of the items in the room were personal belongings and a few borrowed items. We were so thrilled how it turned out. The girls and boys competed against each other to see who could complete all of their challenges first. They had identical challenges. It was close but the girls pulled ahead at the very end. I hope all of the kids had a wonderful time! Thanks to all that came and to everyone who helped pick up afterwards. Special thanks to Julie Herrera Fredieu and Roger Fredieu for help setting it up and cleaning up and Chris Carr for hanging with us til the end on taking it all down. April came to the rescue and made her fabulous corn dip for me and mom prepared the rest. Very much appreciate all of your help!!
