The 150-year-old house that belonged to the most famous illusionist Houdini is now a museum. You decide to go there and learn some of his greatest tricks and illusions. Walking around, your curiosity leads you to a secret room, one in which no one has set foot for over a century. As you enter the room, the door slams shut, leaving you locked inside while the walls start closing in slowly. On the table is Houdini’s testimony, which says: ‘You are the chosen one who managed to enter this secret room. Whoever finds a way to break out of it will have the privilege of becoming my heir.’ The key, which unlocks the door, is hidden somewhere in the room. However, in order to find it, you must solve some challenges first. Houdini left you a pencil, glue and scissors, along with six different cards, which will help you solve the challenges ahead. If you want to get out of this room, you need to get inside the mind of the greatest illusionist and start thinking like him. Can you escape and become the next Houdini? You have 60 minutes before the walls crush you, so you better hurry up—the clock is ticking!

Devo dire che assistenza clienti era impeccabile a quanto per sbaglio ho acquistato escape room Frankenstein senza accorgermi che era solo nella lingua inglese, che purtroppo, anche se i ragazzi sanno inglese, avrebbe molto probabilmente messo in difficoltà il svolgimento del gioco. I work in an after-school program, and am a mom to a 9-year old and 11-year old. We have used several games now - Houdini's Secret Room, Jigsaw Island, Wooka Booka and Mission Unknown - at school and at home. The kids all love them. They are so easy to set up and run, the age recommendations are pretty perfect, and the puzzles are fun to solve. It is a great activity for an hour or so, and it doesn't take a lot of set up time, which is wonderful. I will absolutely buy more of these games. Thank you, creators, for a brilliant product!
Fun for 11 year old party!
Seven pre teens played aged 10-12 at a birthday party and it was a good amount of challenging but I think I could’ve given a little more intro to set up the game for them better. We weren’t super strict about the penalties and hints so both teams finished in about 45 minutes. I was happy to find an indoor activity that held their interest for that long - would highly recommend!

I'm an author looking for ideas to spin off my books so I'm constantly subjecting my family to game ideas. I selected Houdini's Secret Room. Notes: There were 8 of us. Definitely too large of a group. The guys sat back and watched. I'm don't remember why I selected Houdini -- my youngest is 17, so we are far outside the target age group. We solved the puzzle with no hints but did need to put on our thinking caps. The storyline was fun. The puzzles matched the theme and, as I stated above, made us think. They would be excellent for the intended age group. Our only problem was with the app. When we got to the final puzzle, it would not accept our answer. We selected the correct item and received the "are you sure" message, but could not, find a way to submit the answer. We tried for a good ten minutes, inadvertently selecting the wrong item twice. But those were accidents and we couldn't figure out how we got it to accept the answer. We finally gave up and I verified our choice in the solutions guide. A bit anticlimactic, but it was a fun night.

A Magical Houdini Adventure with Family and Friends!
The twins had so much fun at their Escape room birthday party! This was a DIY escape room that my mom and I , with the help of Roger, set up. It was some work but it turned out so neat for the kids. The theme was Houdini’s secret room. We ended up making two rooms, one for the girls and one for the boys. We got lucky that the location that I rented in our home town had a storage closet and then we were able to create another room right next to it. All of the items in the room were personal belongings and a few borrowed items. We were so thrilled how it turned out. The girls and boys competed against each other to see who could complete all of their challenges first. They had identical challenges. It was close but the girls pulled ahead at the very end. I hope all of the kids had a wonderful time! Thanks to all that came and to everyone who helped pick up afterwards. Special thanks to Julie Herrera Fredieu and Roger Fredieu for help setting it up and cleaning up and Chris Carr for hanging with us til the end on taking it all down. April came to the rescue and made her fabulous corn dip for me and mom prepared the rest. Very much appreciate all of your help!!
