Wooka Booka game

It has been a rainy summer, and our "after-school" program has only 6 kids for the past several weeks. We were all out of ideas for keeping them going. Then I found this website, and downloaded Wooka Booka island. The kids enjoyed their adventure, and it saved the staff time and energy with the package all ready to go. It's well thought through, easy to put together with supplies you have, and the kids have just the right level of challenge. Even the 10 year old with us enjoyed the games. I don't usually buy stuff online, but this was really worth it, and I will be buying more of their games in future. Thanks for a great day!

My scouts loved it

Every year my Girl Scout Troop does an escape room at our last meeting before winter break. This was our fourth year, and our second year using one from Escape Room Geeks. Today we did Houdini's Secret Room with 13 nine and ten year olds, split into 3 groups. Everything went perfectly, and the app was an excellent addition. One group finished with 27 minutes to spare, and the other two made more use of the hints and were able to finish in time though they struggled a little more. Everything was really well laid out, and the girls had an amazing time. I'm seriously considering ordering another one to do at our last meeting before summer break.

Fun for ALL ages.

Downloaded the Medrano Circus Escape Room and loved the compatibility with the App. We had two teams work simultaneously on two separate iPads and it was perfect! One hiccup is that if your device is not set up to allow the app to access the camera it will interrupt the experience and you'll have to go back to the beginning and plug in all the previous answers, make sure you use pen an paper to record. Not a huge deal, but interrupted momentum. We had two groups of 11 year olds play and they probably got 85% of the puzzles without help. We then had a group of 8 year olds attempt and they needed more help, probably closer to 50%. The music in the app really added to the experience and the spookiness. The 8 year olds got a little scared the further they advanced, but overall everyone had a great time! From beginning to end probably took just over an hour. I will definitely be back to try another escape room.

Awesome escape room experience

The kit worked really well. All the steps were explained in full detail. The bonus content did really help to make it more fun! We used a tent outside as our room!

Questa volta era per la festa di compleanno di 12 anni del nostro figlio Paolo, che è appassionato per questo tipo di giochi. Devo dire che assistenza clienti era impeccabile a quanto per sbaglio ho acquistato escape room Frankenstein senza accorgermi che era solo nella lingua inglese, che purtroppo, anche se i ragazzi sanno inglese, avrebbe molto probabilmente messo in difficoltà il svolgimento del gioco. Contattando l'assistenza e spiegando il mio errore, ci hanno subito fatto la possibilità di scegliere tra i giochi disponibili in lingua italiana e senza ulteriori costi e un brevissimo tempo ci hanno mandato link del gioco scelto, salvando la sorpresa per la festa. Paolo ed amici si sono divertiti tantissimo. Da parte nostra possiamo solo super consigliare !!!!!!

At school and at home - fantastic all around

I work in an after-school program, and am a mom to a 9-year old and 11-year old. We have used several games now - Houdini's Secret Room, Jigsaw Island, Wooka Booka and Mission Unknown - at school and at home. The kids all love them. They are so easy to set up and run, the age recommendations are pretty perfect, and the puzzles are fun to solve. It is a great activity for an hour or so, and it doesn't take a lot of set up time, which is wonderful. I will absolutely buy more of these games. Thank you, creators, for a brilliant product!

AMAZING GAMES & VALUE!

TLDR: Best escape rooms I've used! Fun, challenging, great stories, and the Legacy Bundle is unbeatable value. Wow! I decided to run an escape room elective this semester, and after several poor experiences with other vendors, I discovered Escape Room Geeks. Hands down, these are the best and most user-friendly escape rooms I've found. They're fun, challenging, and have wonderful storylines. Super user-friendly too, with minimal need for supplies (usually items you already have on hand) and crystal clear instructions. Everyone has enjoyed every single game: from adult supervisors to younger siblings. And honestly, the Legacy Bundle is an amazing value. When you compare it to what competitors charge per game (and again, they're not nearly as good), the bundle gives you the entire vault for life; it's incredible. Plus, they have a free accompanying app for clients too! Not to mention outstanding customer service Thank you, Escape Room Geeks!

Fun for 11 year old party!

Seven pre teens played aged 10-12 at a birthday party and it was a good amount of challenging but I think I could’ve given a little more intro to set up the game for them better. We weren’t super strict about the penalties and hints so both teams finished in about 45 minutes. I was happy to find an indoor activity that held their interest for that long - would highly recommend!

Great for intergenerational activity.

My teenage sons loved the challenges, and tried to do the whole thing without the hints. I enjoyed the first couple sessions with them, especially working something out when they had given up. We did get stuck once or twice, which is where the hints are great. And then, when I was away for a couple days, my sons finished them with my parents. They got the grandparents 100% into it!

My grandkids loved it. They are 8 and 6. I cannot wait until they are old enough to play some of the other games.

Tween Escape Rooms

I bought the 4 pack tween escape room set for my daughters 12th birthday. We only used two, the houdini and cicrcus ones. They were both a hit! Kida ages ranged from 8-14. Although, challenging in a good way, they all really enjoyed figuring it out. I added some props to help set the mood. I also locked each individual challenge so they had to solve the previous challenge tp get to the next one. The app was so fun and easy to use too! Thank you for making escape room affordable and easy for us!

jigsaw Island

My grandchildren have been doing treasure hunts since they were really young. I was very excited when I found your web site and you had escape rooms that matched their ages (7 & 11) but I chose this one (ages 5-9) so they would not be frustrated by the new format. They were not joyous. They solved everything with very little help (except the beads puzzle that required a color printer, which I have but the colors were not distinguishable.) I was very disappointed and will not be a repeat customer.

We bought the Professor Swens lab for my sons 10th bday party. All the boys LOVED it, it was a bit challenging at first because they didnt really understand what they needed to be doing, so explaining to them the CONCEPT of the game can save you alot of hassle when setting the kids up. The boys needed 4 clues in total. My husband joined them half way through and he loved it. He was soooo into it. Currently buying another one for spring break!

Fun for family game night

My family (incl. 9yo + 13yo) and I had a great time doing Professor Swen's Lab. I especially liked the first challenge with the map because it allowed my 9yo to be very interactive and focused on the instructions/directions. And if course I think the ones associated with the mobile app are the best because it brings you just a little closer to the high-tech expensive Escape Rooms. Hopefully more can be added to the app.

Fun family night

I'm an author looking for ideas to spin off my books so I'm constantly subjecting my family to game ideas. I selected Houdini's Secret Room. Notes: There were 8 of us. Definitely too large of a group. The guys sat back and watched. I'm don't remember why I selected Houdini -- my youngest is 17, so we are far outside the target age group. We solved the puzzle with no hints but did need to put on our thinking caps. The storyline was fun. The puzzles matched the theme and, as I stated above, made us think. They would be excellent for the intended age group. Our only problem was with the app. When we got to the final puzzle, it would not accept our answer. We selected the correct item and received the "are you sure" message, but could not, find a way to submit the answer. We tried for a good ten minutes, inadvertently selecting the wrong item twice. But those were accidents and we couldn't figure out how we got it to accept the answer. We finally gave up and I verified our choice in the solutions guide. A bit anticlimactic, but it was a fun night.

Great Indoor Activity for Bday Party

I ordered this for my daughter's 11 year old bday party and it was a hit! It wasn't too hard or too easy. They needed the hints and loved that they could get them from the app. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I printed everything out on cardstock as suggested. We did have 7 girls and they didn't want to be separated so they did it as one big group. It was slightly too large of a group as some would feel not involved at times. Up to 5 is recommended and I should have followed that guidance. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Good family time

My family (with 2 boys: 9yo + 13yo) just completed 'Professor Swen's Lab' as part of a holiday family activity. It was a lot of fun, and I appreciated the app, which allowed everyone to participate. Driving the mad mobile around the map for the first challenge was fun for my 9yo. I would say it's more age appropriate for 8-11yo kids.

Your perfect at home date night

We played with my wife Silver Screen Sleuths and loved every second of it. Downloading the game was all I needed to do and we could solve this after putting our kids to bed. We loved the comic style and all the puzzles are so clever. The story makes sense from beginning to the end. I hope to play more like this in the future

Escape rooms during cyber security event for children

I was preparing the cybersecurity event for children at school. One of the tasks was run from the escape room. I had 3 groups so I prepared three escape rooms. Children had to cooperate to win this game. I used games from Escape Room Geeks which I was able to mix to have a great adventure for children. It was an excellent choice and children had a lot of fun. It was great that I can use those escape rooms for children in different years so it was on their level and all of them can solve challenges in similar time. I really appreciate your help and I'm 100% sure that I will use more of your printable escape rooms in the future. Thanks for your great work!

This is the most amazing find!

My kids (13yo,9yo) are obsessed with Escape Rooms but they're too expensive. For Halloween I was looking for an at-home DIY one, not at all expecting to find this gem. It's really the app for me, but the quality of the challenges and extras make this amazing. I think they're going to love it. I've done a quick review myself and am quite impressed.

Problematic for groups

The escape room is good for 1 group but when it comes to running 2 groups of 5 as advertised is possible, the codes only work for 1 group to complete the puzzles. The second group couldn't get past the codes.

We tested "The Gilded Carcanet Part 3"

We recently played "The Gilded Carcanet Part 3" and it was an absolute blast! This game was engaging and challenging, really putting our escape skills to the test. We've loved the entire trilogy, but this final part was the icing on the cake. We did need a few hints along the way, which were thoughtfully designed and helped us out just when we felt stuck. The story and the finale were fantastic. We can't wait for the Escape Room Geeks designers to come out with a new game for enthusiasts like us!

I recommend it!

We played "The Gilded Carcanet III" we were 3 players and had a great time! The game is fun and full of interesting puzzles and mysteries. It was quite challenging, and it took us around 2 hours to finish. We did use some of the hints to help us along the way. This game is a great finish for the trilogy. And even if you haven't played Parts 1 and 2, you can still enjoy it. It's a fantastic adventure that keeps you engaged and entertained. I was waiting for Part 3

Yes, finally the third one. I love this game. I always play with my Grandpa; I call him my Barty when we play :). The challenges, some easy and some difficult, were incredibly satisfying to play, discover, and solve. Level 4, in particular, really makes you think. Excellent games, all three of them. Very jealous of those who will play them for the first time.

Circus Medrano Comes to Africa!

Greetings from beautiful Uganda, the Pearl of Africa! ??? We wanted to let you all know how much our students enjoyed solving the mystery of Medrano Circus. First, some background… We are house parents at The Amazima School, a secondary boarding school in Jinja. We oversee a dorm of 18 Ugandan teenage boys, ranging in age from 16-20. All of these guys come from hard places and have experienced some level of trauma. Our role is to provide a safe, loving environment while they are at school and to cultivate partnership with their families and guardians to ensure a quality education as well as spiritual growth. One of their favorite Saturday night activities is the Escape Room Geeks games. When they returned to the house from dinner last weekend to find it decorated and set up, they broke into big smiles and did, “Yay!! Escape room!” They were delighted! This is our third Escape Room Geeks game night at our house. And it did not disappoint. We decorated the dorm with brightly colored balloons and played circus music. We played the the opening story from the app, then divided them into three teams of 6 and sent them into their rooms with the first challenge. Each team had an adult mentor with a phone and the apo, as the students themselves do not have phones at school. At certain points when they completed a challenge, we rewarded the teams with circus themed treats such as peanuts and sodas. We even recruited two small children from a couple that lives on campus to act as our kidnap victims so when they solved the final challenge, they actually had to find the door with the correct address and open it. When they did, out came the two children, excitedly thanking them for rescuing them. Afterwards, when the teams completed the game, we gave them funnel cakes as a treat. They had never had them before and they really enjoyed them. They said this was the best one yet, but also for them the easiest as they are becoming pros at solving escape rooms. :-) Next term, we plan to do another. Unfortunately, we are unable to send many photos, due to a strict school policy of not taking and/or publishing photos of the students’ faces. We are attaching a few from various escape rooms that do not show their faces. Thank you all for providing such excellent games. We have never been disappointed. And here at the school, we emphasize critical thinking skills and creative problem solving, so they are perfect vehicles for our students to exercise in a practical way the skills they are developing at the school. Looking forward to the next escape room night!

Loving the new game!

The boys and I loved this video game style of the game. And again, I needed two copies of the game because we needed two hammers :). Now they're running around the house yelling, "We're going to beat you, Prince of Shadows :)." The puzzles were very fun. Sometimes they solve things faster than I do; I guess it's because they play a lot more video games than me, so they have their own logic for solving puzzles, or maybe they've grown smarter than me :), which makes me feel proud. Nice work. Hoping for many more games because we love our game nights :).

Loved it!

Last game night, we played "Aria and the Secret of Light", and wow, did it light up our evening! I've been on the hunt for something special to peel us away from screens and stumbled upon this printable escape room game. It was exactly what we needed. My kiddo was totally engrossed, especially with the lighthouse puzzle. It’s not every day you see him so engaged, solving problems with a grin on his face. And when he finally outsmarted the Prince of Darkness, his cheer was so genuine it filled the room with warmth. For a moment, we weren't just at home; we were heroes in Eldoria, bringing light back where it belonged. It was heartwarming to see him so involved and happy, and honestly, I had a blast too. It's amazing how a simple game turned into one of our most memorable nights. Can't wait to dive into our next adventure. If it’s anything like our time in Eldoria, we’re in for a treat!

Great memory!

We played the game with my girl and her two cousins, who are 11 and 12 years old. They loved that cutting, folding, and gluing were involved in solving the puzzles. We took our time playing the game because they said that everything needed to be precise and neatly made since everything is so beautiful. My daughter fell in love with Aria and now she wants to be like Aria when she grows up and bring light to people just like her.

Circus Escape for 14 year olds

My daughter and 6 of her friends had a great time completing the escape room. Group was mostly 14 yo with a couple 13 yo. It took them about 75 minutes to complete and our only “complaint”/tip is to ignore the keys of the piano. Our group was full of band and choir kids who solved based on the piano, not the book and the piano was not accurate. Wouldn’t be an issue for the majority of kids, and after a confusing 10-15 minutes, we figured out why they weren’t getting it! Also, the app can be very picky with how things are entered to be accepted. Not sure there’s a way to fix that, so we just made sure we were there in case something was rejected when it was correct. I decorated an area to the theme to make it more realistic for the party. I also added a box with an actual lock for the music box code thinking it would add to the experience. It really threw the girls off and I wouldn’t do it that way again lol Overall, for an at home escape room, it was great. Very fun watching the girls get excited when they figured something out and watching them piece things together. Company was very responsive to email questions before I purchased as well. Thanks!

We want more!

OMG, first the illustrations, I don’t know who likes them better, me or my two boys. I needed two copies of the game: one for playing, writing, cutting, and one copy so we can make them into posters :). The gameplay is very interesting. The boys were so excited and with their competitive spirit, they were on edge about who would find something first, who would find the solution first, and yet again, when they were stuck, they turned into a team. For me, it was very satisfying to see how their little brains work and seeing their happy faces of achievement. We finished the game with 'WE WANT MORE!' :)

Escape From the Jigsaw Puzzle" is a family game-changer! My kids, aged 8 and 10, were so engrossed in solving the brilliantly designed puzzles that they're already begging for more. Girls night to remember :)

So, the kid I nanny and I decided to have a little “girls’ night” and thought, “Why not try an escape room game?” We picked “Escape from Jigsaw Island”, and oh boy, did we have a blast! The puzzles were super fun and had just the right mix of being a bit challenging but totally doable. Her absolute favorite was this cool jewel puzzle. Watching her figure it out was just the best - she was all in, super focused and determined. Honestly, it turned our night into something special and fun. I didn't buy any if their escape rooms but I used their tips to make my own. I spent hours making a Harry Potter themed escape room during my spring break and I am just about to go set it up. I used their tips and I had the time of my life making my own and making these clues. This guys are amazing!!!!

I bought the wrong scape room for my daughter’s birthday, wrong age, they were too young to play the one I got, I ask them to replace it if possible, know that because the nature of the product it was something hard to ask, they sent me the other scape room game without hesitation, sent greetings to my daughter and wrote a nice email. I deleted the other game since I read the instructions and my kid and her friends were too young to play, so I really didn’t take any advantage of the situation but would understand 100% if they refused, but the exceed my expectations. The K-4th kids in our after school program loved Wooka Booka Island. None of them had experienced an escape room before, but they quickly caught on (with the help of our volunteers). It was so much fun to see them working together as teams. What a great way to start their spring break!

A lot of fun for 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 4th grade students!

We ordered the kit with 3 escape rooms. It was intended for 10 kids, but nearly 30 signed up! We ran 2 groups of 4th grade, 2 groups of 3rd grade playing the Houdini room and 1 group of 2nd grade doing Wooka Booka. The 4th and 3rd grade, we had the kids compete against the other group in the room and it was a lot of fun! We recommend printing the kit on high quality paper and in color - it was much more durable and fun.

Who says the sequel cannot be as good as the first game? :) We gathered again, the same players, and had a very fun night. It is interesting to see how some of us thought some of the challenges to be so easy, while others looked at us as if this was hard. And again, in other challenges, when I was totally lost, someone would say this was easy, and I think this is exactly the point of games like this. You need teamwork and people with different types of thinking. I hope there will be a third game because it has become a little tradition now with my friends. Nicely done. Bravo!

Highly recommend it!

It was a total hit at our last hangout. Just a bunch of friends, some printed puzzles, and a whole lot of fun. These puzzles make you think but in the coolest way possible. Solving the mystery in Baraboo, Wisconsin, home of the International Clown Hall of Fall and the Circus World Museum.

Our middle school youth gathered in a circus themed room to solve the Medrano Circus Mystery. This escape room kept the kids engaged, working together, and was easy for us to put together. It was fun coming up with a menu for supper - food you would buy at a circus. We ended the night by watching The Greatest Showman. I even suggested we use another escape room and do one for adults sometime.

The Girls Loved the Independent Challenge

Two girls (both 11yo) loved the independence of this escape room. It took them a little while to get started, and they got hung up when it was not intuitive to use the camera app on the tablet for one of the puzzles (hopefully this is not a spoiler). But after that, it was smooth sailing and a huge confidence builder for both girls. They had a lot of fun! The phone call kinda creeped them out, but that was part of the fun, haha!

We started with the kids in handcuffs that they had to escape from.   We added locks with combos from the game on 3 rooms. And we added a maze on the front porch that they had to navigate to get the rose garden pieces. Bottom line is your game was a great basis for us to build from

My three boys aged 6, 7 and 11 did it and I read. They really enjoyed it but I did feel there was a lot of reading and it took a while to cut out all the pieces which then made it difficult to hold their attention. Aside from that - it was great and the 6 year old has been asking to do another one.

We did it!

My feedback was that kids liked everything except the writing and detailed cutting. It slowed down the pace for them. I helped and that got it done and we went back to the adventure. I also ad libbed sections where they share what they knew about Dino's. They loved that. This one felt doable to the younger set. I do think ages 9+ would find it too easy but our group of 6-8 had a great time!

I printed two copies and my six year old played against dad for Father's Day. At the end of the game, I added in a troll that they had to use their potion to fight. The winner (my son, of course) got to become the wizard's new apprentice. This was a great way to spend Father's Day together ?‍♂️!

This week, we opted to use "The Guilded Carcanet" printable Escape Room for our history students. We divided into teams of 4 and used almost 80 minutes to complete it. This was generally suitable for ages 14 - adults, although I found two of the missions a bit little challenging for the younger students if a subtle clue eluded everyone on the team. I loved it and will use it again along with a conventional Escape Room we are preparing for cultures throughout history.

Meet our team of young paleontologists who have traveled into the future to fertilize a new species of Dinosaur egg--Shortysaurus! ?

We played it last Friday. The kids enjoyed it, overall. The dialogue was good, I did improvise on some parts of it to make it more engaging. We played it with a group of 4 (aged 6-11). The older kids were more engaged than the younger ones. They did a phenomenal job working together to solve the different puzzles like finding and cleaning the ancient fossils, and putting together a broken chain of DNA to uncover the new dino! If we play it again in the future, I would probably use some props like a fake egg or a fossil to excavate.

I got Houdini's Secret Room for my almost 9 year old and her friend.

It was super fun, I had to get a few hints to help them along but they loved it. I was having a bit of trouble with the app, it kept closing on me do the timer kept restarting, but that was really the only issue. They made me turn off the music from the app because it was freaking them out ? but I thought that touch was superb to add that element of stress that actually being IN an escape room causes. We are definitely going to do more!

I bought the game kit for our family, including my parents, to play at Halloween.

My husband was the 'Game Master' . (He also created a few riddles which we had to solve in order to find the Challenges hidden around the house. ?) We had the best time! Kids and grown ups. Just wanted to say thank you SO much for a great escape room. I have never done one before, or made one, but knew I wanted to do something for my (now) 9 year old's birthday that didn't just involve computer games during lock down times! You pack was easy to understand, and easy to make, and a lot of fun to deploy. I acted as game master, and did my first room as this one! So if I can do it, anyone can! The kids there were all 8, and got on really well. We gave a few hints (thanks to the great answers sheet) and kept it running roughly at 20 mins a section - they escaped with 5 mins to go! WOOHOO! We had so much fun doing the escape room.

My husband and I put two rooms together for our 10-12 year old kids/friends. There were 5 kids in each room and they all had a blast. We stepped it up with some props in the room and real locks revealing new clues and the prize box downstairs with the last key to win it all. Delight for All Ages!

My 10, 7, and 5-year olds just did this. I sent the downloadables to a local print store and printed them on cardstock, which made it really nice! I "locked" them in my room, taped the "lock" to the door, and played the suggested Youtube music playlist. The 10-year old did most of the work, but the 7-year old helped and the little one was able to do the directional puzzle. They really loved it. Thank you so much! We will definitely buy another if you make one!

This was a blast last night!

Our youngest son (6) is a pediatric cardiology patient who has had 2 open heart surgeries. For us, the fears of this bug are real. We had to explain to our 12yo that the festivities were canceled this year. I bought this and surprised him with it last night when they got back from a walk. A thrilling adventure for hubby and son, ready for round two!

Thank you so much for creating an amazing escape room that we could do from home. I set up the game for my hubby and 10 year old, while I played the role of Game Master. My son usually isn't into puzzles, but he dove right in and was engaged and excited the whole way through! And they did it! They escaped in 51:32! I have a 10 year old and almost 7 year old. They invited a friend over and worked as a team of 3 to solve both the Professor Swen and Houdini Room. They enjoyed the 3D aspect of the map/car/building and the tower/swords. It made it more than just sheets of paper. I also enjoyed the online clues and timer to make it more interactive. Lastly, we made use of the background music on YouTube that was suggested to add ambiance. It was an all around fun experience for all of the kids and myself! (PS...I am a teacher and I plan to use this with my class as an end of year fun activity!)

To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed. Considering the cost, I expected much more variety in the puzzles. 3 challenges, although challenging, isn't enough in my opinion. I intended on using this for my classroom, but having all of the puzzles able to fit onto a single table isn't ideal. Not enough bang for my buck, I'm afraid ?

Thanksgiving Escape Room Surprise

I am always so skeptical about these types of deals on Facebook however I have made my own Escape Rooms in the past and the kids were begging me for another one to do on Thanksgiving...I thought for $19 I would try it. So...went out on a limb and tried it... turns out it was amazing! Customer service was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or concerns I had...the game would be great as is but I added a few more aspects to it such as hiding keys to lock boxes for the scissors and glue etc that was needed.... I thought my kids would need more help solving (10/8yrs) but they only asked for one hint! The hours I saved in coming up with a story line and activities on my own is well worth the money and the kids want me to do another tomorrow. One major dislike I had was that the amount of ink it took to print it all out...maybe a more printer friendly set would be so much better. With that being said, I would still purchase another one!

A Memorable Family Adventure

Halloween looked real different this year for us ?

No Trick-or-Treating involved ? Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull that off, but I did ? We playing the Houdini's Escape Room as one of our Halloween activities ? It wasn't hard to set up for ? and the kids (all ages) loved it‼️ We can't wait to see another one come out ? Thanks ?

Une Aventure Mémorable au Laboratoire du Pr. SOEN

Nous avons relevé le défi du Laboratoire du Pr. SOEN pour le 9e anniversaire de notre fils et nous sommes bien impressionnés tant par la qualité des énigmes, le graphisme que par la traduction en français! Les 6 garçons ont travaillé fort durant presqu'une heure et ont relevé le défi avec fierté! L'équipe de Escape Room Geeks, a été super pour régler un petit problème de paiement et était très rapide pour ses suivis.

A Huge Hit at My Kids' Camp with 100+ Happy Escapers!

I run kids camps out of my home and this weeks theme is Escape Rooms! I bought the VIP pack and and used 2 of the 3 rooms(one easy and one hard) to accommodate my age ranges. The kids LOVED it and many said it was their favorite week! Over 100 kids entertained! I bulked up the end of Houdini’s with a puzzle box, actual keys, a needle with balloons to pop and a suitcase full of Blow Pop suckers for escaping and not “blowing it!” These kits saved me a lot of time trying to create one on my own! Buy it!!

A Magical Houdini Adventure with Family and Friends!

The twins had so much fun at their Escape room birthday party! This was a DIY escape room that my mom and I , with the help of Roger, set up. It was some work but it turned out so neat for the kids. The theme was Houdini’s secret room. We ended up making two rooms, one for the girls and one for the boys. We got lucky that the location that I rented in our home town had a storage closet and then we were able to create another room right next to it. All of the items in the room were personal belongings and a few borrowed items. We were so thrilled how it turned out. The girls and boys competed against each other to see who could complete all of their challenges first. They had identical challenges. It was close but the girls pulled ahead at the very end. I hope all of the kids had a wonderful time! Thanks to all that came and to everyone who helped pick up afterwards. Special thanks to Julie Herrera Fredieu and Roger Fredieu for help setting it up and cleaning up and Chris Carr for hanging with us til the end on taking it all down. April came to the rescue and made her fabulous corn dip for me and mom prepared the rest. Very much appreciate all of your help!! Oh and thanks to Jaylee Johnson for creating the backdrop for the photos and her help!! Truly could not have done it without any of you! Thank you all so so much!!! Wooka Booka game

It has been a rainy summer, and our "after-school" program has only 6 kids for the past several weeks. We were all out of ideas for keeping them going. Then I found this website, and downloaded Wooka Booka island. The kids enjoyed their adventure, and it saved the staff time and energy with the package all ready to go. It's well thought through, easy to put together with supplies you have, and the kids have just the right level of challenge. Even the 10 year old with us enjoyed the games. I don't usually buy stuff online, but this was really worth it, and I will be buying more of their games in future. Thanks for a great day!

My scouts loved it

Every year my Girl Scout Troop does an escape room at our last meeting before winter break. This was our fourth year, and our second year using one from Escape Room Geeks. Today we did Houdini's Secret Room with 13 nine and ten year olds, split into 3 groups. Everything went perfectly, and the app was an excellent addition. One group finished with 27 minutes to spare, and the other two made more use of the hints and were able to finish in time though they struggled a little more. Everything was really well laid out, and the girls had an amazing time. I'm seriously considering ordering another one to do at our last meeting before summer break.

Fun for ALL ages.

Downloaded the Medrano Circus Escape Room and loved the compatibility with the App. We had two teams work simultaneously on two separate iPads and it was perfect! One hiccup is that if your device is not set up to allow the app to access the camera it will interrupt the experience and you'll have to go back to the beginning and plug in all the previous answers, make sure you use pen an paper to record. Not a huge deal, but interrupted momentum. We had two groups of 11 year olds play and they probably got 85% of the puzzles without help. We then had a group of 8 year olds attempt and they needed more help, probably closer to 50%. The music in the app really added to the experience and the spookiness. The 8 year olds got a little scared the further they advanced, but overall everyone had a great time! From beginning to end probably took just over an hour. I will definitely be back to try another escape room.
